Kuzy's one of those players who was appreciated by the fans here for much more than just how he played, and I think Calgary fans can now see that for themselves. He's going to hold the rare position of being equally loved by two different fanbases that don't usually have much in common.

I like him because I like hilarious goofballs but from Tocchet's perspective could he picture Kuzmenko hoisting a cup? With some notable exceptions there's still some Russian players who because they never grew up worshipping the Stanley Cup they don't have a second gear in the playoffs. I can picture him scoring a lot of regular season goals but I can't picture Kuzmenko hoisting a cup.
