The Dallas Stars shutout the Seattle Kraken over the weekend for their 7th straight win which matches a Franchise record. Jake Oettinger made 17 saves in his second shutout of the season and Wyatt Johnston collected two points which included his 100th career NHL point. They also swept a four game road trip which brings them to a total of 25 road wins and 55 points which also matches a franchise record. All is right in the world of Stars hockey, however Chris Tanev may be out with an injury moving forward. He took a hit against Adam Larsson, which forced him out of the game for a stretch with an upper body injury. Pete DeBoer said he was unable to finish the contest and will get more testing done back home. This is obviously very concerning for the Stars who started to hit their stride with their defensive pairings which had been a huge problem before Tanev joined the mix. The next segment of Locked On Stars takes a peak at the dominating month of March for the Stars where they went 11-2 in 13 games. The averaged of four goals per game and were top 10 in goals against. Jamie Benn led the team with 19 points and his line mate Johnston led the Stars with 10 goals. That leads us into the final seven games of the season in the month of April as the Stars look to win the Central division. We look ahead the April schedule and the possible playoff scenarios for the Dallas Stars in just a few weeks!

I hope Tanev will be okay. Any updates on Dadonov?
I’m actually so nervous about tanev, I don’t care if he misses the rest of the regular season, but if he starts missing playoffs. We may be in trouble, however his arm was flexible enough to walk back out there so that makes me hopefuln
Tanev has a history of labrum problems, let’s cross our fingers! That Thurs game against the canucks was one of his best, he’s rounding into form at the right time.
Hopefully it's just precaution on Tanev. He came back out and finished the game, so let's hope it isn't major.
What a win and heater this team is on! Otter is coming around and has ben a shutdown goalie his last 4 starts. If it wasnt for Fla and NJ this team would be on a 14 game banger and would have swept the month.
Jamie Benn is on freaking fire 🔥 almost everything he throws at the net is going in right now. The D has been light out and a brick wall lately.
I don't expect much to change with these last 7 games. This team will be in an excellent rhythm and form come playoff time. Lunqvist needs to start the rest of the season and needs to be thrown in the playoff roster. His speed and ability to pass the puck and also put it in the back of the net is going to be needed.
Play it safe. Post season is already clinched. Big picture stuff now.
