I wonder if Tij will keep growing to his father's size? 6'1" 210 lbs would be good.
Another guy Habs might have an eye on is Zeev Buium who apparantly is now 6'2 while being a great defenseman.

I fucking hope Montreal is looking at Tij Iginla… he’s exactly the type of player we need Character, Skill, Effort it’s all there good size, I really hope we draft em… He has first line potential in my opinion and at the very least good second line potential… with Montreals development recently I would bet the Habs would get the most out of Iginla….
I hate to say this because none have played an NHL game and I know is the Hutson Hype is going on! But to me, it’s hard to trade any of these dmen away until we see what they bring at the NHL level! Guhle should be untouchable as Xhekaj! Mallioux and Reinbacher bring size! Hutson is small! Yes maybe a pp specialist but can he play big minutes with his small frame and not get injured? Time will tell! I’m not sold on him that’s all I’m saying and until I’m proven wrong I’d sacrifice him for the big name forward we need!
If the Habs draft Parech, Hutson will be traded for a Forward!
I would rather keep Mailloux than Hutson even though I would want to keep both at this time. Do not trade any of your young offensive defencemen until we see how well they adapt to pro hockey
Last season Iginla was playing on a stacked team and was BARELY getting ice time and was on the 3rd and sometimes 4th line… that’s why he wasn’t producing much this season he actually got the chance to show what he could do… He’s also one of the youngest players in this draft…

Honestly if a top dman is available in the draft and only a top 6 fwdnlt a top line fwd I'd take the D and trade that D the value would be so much higher and they'd get something better than whoever they would draft at fwd
I don’t think Guhle is going anywhere but a top 6 forward will be an expensive trade. Byram was the price to get Middelstadt out of Buffalo so Habs will most likely part with someone who we’d rather not see go. Habs management needs to get this trade right

From what I have heard about Iginla, if he hits his ceiling he could be a exactly what the team needs. Lindstrom is my top choice however I will be shocked if he is still available when it is montreal's selection

They will trade eventually when they make a push. Just reality to sign a free agent or something before trade deadline.

We just need to trade dvorak and harris and we have more than enough cap to sign a 2nd line winger for a couple years. We dont need a superstar to come steal a spot from our top guys who are all progressing.

Just got back from the rockets win tonight. Tij got another snipe. He's looking pretty amazing. I would be stoked for him to be a habs.
Maybe instead of a defense, you package Beck and mesar with the loads of picks we have and upgrade the forward. If we ran Suzuki,dach, newhook, Evans for c's that's a pretty stacked middle
Watched Iginla tonight in Kelowna. He’s going to be a great goal scorer in the NHL.
