    I was expecting to lose but that didn’t even feel competitive.

    People in the game thread saying Hak is safe because we’re a fringe playoff team..I’m not sure how you can say that watching that game vs a bottom seed playoff team.

    I hope we can bring someone in this offseason who we can run our offense through – we need a little shakeup.

    Love the Gru haters trying to claw their way out of their holes like it was some sort of mid season breakdown.

    We’re playing rookies and shifting lines, we soft-sold at the deadline. No one at the front office is expecting wins for the rest of the season.

    We have scored 100 less goals this year that we did last year so far and put up nearly 400 less shots.

    Gru and any other net minders are far from the issue.

    That was a pathetic number of hats they threw down for Moore’s hat trick. At least, I can watch the rest of our games now without worrying about our playoff chances.

    My bias won’t change any hypothetical outcome, but I want the see the Kings to lose. I want the Blues to somehow squeak into the playoffs (I love watching Dunn and Schwartzy with you guys) and I know it’s a long shot but WHY THE FUCK DO YOU NOT START DACCORD TONIGHT AGAINST A HIGHLY MOTIVATED KINGS SQUAD FIGHTING TO HOLD A PLAYOFF SPOT AFTER A SOLID WIN AGAINST THE *checks notes* SHARKS SO YOU CAN GIVE YOUR YOUNG GOALTENDER A TASTE OF HIGH LEVERAGE PLAY AGAINST A TEAM HE ALREADY HAS GOOD STARTS AGAINST AND MAYBE TAKE THE EXPERIENCE AS THE W? And as a response to the response to my saying this in the GDT, it doesn’t matter if you don’t score but this team every time I watch absolutely dawgs on people with random bursts of “we want it more” even if playing a better squad. They give them hell. This team has a high ceiling, you ain’t the Sharks. You were one or two injury stints from switching spots with the Kings/Knights.

    Done venting, I don’t feel better.

    Even though it was only a matter of time before we were officially eliminated from playoff contention, I hate the fact that the Kings just got the satisfaction of directly dealing the final death blow to our playoff hopes.

    At least we’ll have Firebirds playoff hockey to look forward to once the Kraken season comes to a close.

    We used to have a chance in games like this. It wasn’t a bad effort tonight, but this team looks like a shell of itself.

    Not playing Winterton and Morrison is inexcusable. I hope someone asked about that in the postgame. That’s one they should answer for.

    I’m on vacation starting Friday. Not sure when I’ll be able to watch next.

    Silver lining: at least the goals the Kings scored were pretty. If it wasn’t against us it would have been fun to watch.
