Kid can take a punch, I’ll give him that much. He can definitely take a lot of punches… it was cute seeing him think he won when you can tell he had no clue how to fight and would copy Macd’s moves. Fight started with Rempe eating fists and then he landed one punch. But once that happened Macdermid started to pepper him with jabs you can see Rempe’s light go off and say “oh I should try that” since he was unable to do jack shit. But he didn’t know how and would just brush Macdermid’s face ineffectively

I honestly feel bad for Rempe because he’s become nationally relevant for his hitting and now his fighting. But he’s actually not that good a fighter, so now he just has to get his face beat in over and over again to stay relevant

Honestly maximum respect for McDermid. He was traded to this team weeks ago and has played in like 5 games and he steps up for his team like that. Yeah that’s his job but still. How beholden is he, realistically, to this team?

Glad this chapter is done. This was nowhere near as good as the line brawl in 2012, but I guess hockey is a different sport these days. Also I think that was during the playoffs? I could be wrong.
