The Hockey News writes “Sidney Crosby will get shot at World Championship” on their website and they get clicks and revenue, but when I write “Sidney Crosby will get shot at World Championship” by cutting out letters from magazines and then mail it to the Penguins’ front office, I get a visit from the FBI.

I think this would be cool, at one time a lot of high profile NHL players would routinely play at the IIHF championship in April/ May. Ovechkin even got called out a lot for people thinking he’d rather play there than for a cup.
Now days the teams (at least for North America teams) are a lot of depth players and kids.
