He’s right about this, but it’d be nice for him to focus less on this and more on the teams play.
Rempes half the tough guy I thought he was.
Between his brain turning to mush, I imagine more suspensions, and his meh hockey dudes not looking at a long NHL shelf life
Laviolette has no reason to be upset. He runs 2-3 goons on his 3rd and 4th line each night and encourages their behavior. Head contact like the hit rempe served on both Siegenthaler and Bastian has no place in hockey.
Hopefully the rangers get bounced early in the playoffs so I don’t have to hear their awful fans talk. You can tell that a lot of the bitter sentiment this year from their players and fans is from last year’s playoff series loss.
One night in 2001, Peter Laviolette had his own fight night as a rookie coach vs the Rangers when the Islanders ragdolled them. Even Yashin fought.
