If that still shot of a fight is their one “win” they get this season I’d say that’s a massive success for us. We beat them 4-0 and have a good shot at the presidents trophy. They’re looking at the being the most disappointing team of the season after being one of the preseason favorites to win the cup. They literally made a trade for this guy to fight our 13th forward and yea he got his fight but he didn’t do dick to help them accomplish any sort of team success. After an offseason of reading press clippings about how the Devils were this young up and coming team who would be set up for success for a long time and how the Rangers were a massive disappointment one team worked jts ass off and is competing for a Stanley cup and the other has their fanbase questioning if their soft core is a one hit wonder that’s built for mediocrity. Only one team wins the cup every year, It probably won’t be us but at least we have a shot at it. But as far as this rivalry goes I’d say we enacted our revenge from last season and they didn’t do shit to stop it from happening.
