I don’t know if there’s any empirical truth to this, or if these stat cards even back this claim up, but from what I can tell it seems like the more games Petry and Ed play together the better Petry has gotten. Whether that’s Ed elevating his game, or Petry being more vigilant because he’s playing with the new kid, I don’t know. And I’m not trying to be revisionist about this and say he’s secretly been great all season either, because he hasn’t been. But with Ed it feels like he’s at least improved some, which we really need the trend to continue for these last games.

I do wonder sometimes how many pts we’d be at if Ed didn’t sit the season in GR. There’s an argument it helped him improve to this level but man.
