havent watched yet, but just by the thumbnail Stammer would look good in a Habs jersey – a rangers fan with an undying hate for the lightning
Forget it. The lightning will find a way to sign Stamkos. They always find a way.
Marchessault would be a more logical choice and he's french Canadian.
Stamkos decline is hidden by quality teammates in Tampa. You can’t expect him to come to mtl and have the same impact as a mcdavid
you gotta add carey's LTIR caphit to that 9m. We're closer to 18m with free cap with only barron and xhekaj to re-sign.
They don’t have the money to do a big free agent signing. They would need to get rid of Gallagher and Anderson contract before.
Guhle, Slaf and Dach will need new contracts next year and they will not be cheap.
Committing that money now would make me believe that they would trade Guhle – they would get a good return on him and we have a bunch of prospects that can step up.
