Florida will have Sergei Bobrovsky in net; Boston will counter with Linus Ullmark.
The Panthers are coming off a 6-0 win against Ottawa on Thursday; it was the 865th of Maurice’s career putting him in sole possession of fourth place in NHL history.
Florida had lost eight of 10 coming into Thursday’s game.
The Panthers opened to a 2-0 lead with the fastest two goals to start a game in franchise history from Nick Cousins and Dmitry Kulikov.
Florida scored three in the second (Anton Lundell, Sam Bennett and Sam Reinhart) before Matthew Tkachuk got the last one in the third.
Bobrovsky made 30 saves for his fifth shutout of the season.
Florida visits the Boston Bruins on Saturday afternoon.
