Don't put expectations on this team. We are not built to win a Cup – the blue print is in the 2011, 72 and 70 teams. Our model is not the Golden Knights. This falls squarely on Charlie Jacobs. He won't let Sweeny retool through the draft, which means several seasons of being bad to get high draft picks. Jacobs knows Sweeney is talented and it wouldn't be decades like Buffalo or Montreal. All Jacobs cares about is consessions at TB North. He will spend money to keep people in the seats to buy his beer and hot dogs and he won't tolerate sustained losing for the better good.
I was at the Nashville game Tuesday. This team in thin. I saw the same game last year, and the difference was night and day. The Bruins were far more dominant last year.
And how dumb are these guys? The bruins have been getting manhandled on faceoffs, and that has no impact on offense? They don’t even know what they’re talking about.
