Wait, Connor Bedard from the Chicago Bedard is fighting for his spot in the lineup ?

  2. I’ve been saying it for ages but Connor is like a baby that wants to walk, he knows how but he physically can’t because his head is too heavy. Once he adjusts and his body can do everything his mind wants to do then lord have mercy on the hockey world.

The shot’s gonna be fine. Maybe should be putting some work in defensively

  4. Only thing Bedard needs is some more talent around him

Gretzky always talks about Marty McSorley’s work ethic was above and beyond everyone else’s: “you may not be a Messier or Lemueux, but everyone has it in them to be a Marty McSorley” Apparently he was on the ice for hours after practice.

ie, This kid has work ethic!!

The voiceover sounds like they’re talking about a fuckin’ lizard in the wild or something

Dude hasn’t even had a PPG season yet and 0 playoff points.

    Actual bust.

(That is satire btw. Shouldn’t have to say it).

A pro athlete practicing? Wow. Who would have thought

Wait NHL players practice to get better? I had no idea…..

I love this kid. Not only is he talented as hell, he seems like a genuinely good egg. Can’t wait to see what his career brings.

  11. EndTheOrcs

Generational. No one has ever practiced like this…

My favorite part about this is that, in the episode of Every Shift this is from, after he says, “I don’t know if you can use that mic’d up,” the producer asks why. He says because of the swears, referring to the coach he was working with swearing and it picking up on the hot mic. Such a pure little guy.

Dedicated to being ass look at his +/- (am trolling don’t @ me)

I guess they don’t share their practice facility with anyone else?

Ik ESPN milked the shit out of him, but the kid has an insane work ethic and has worked on all parts of his game. Most surprising thing about him is he hits people. A lot.

This is only my second year really following the NHL cause I joined a fantasy league. So what’s the big deal with Bedard besides all the pre draft hype?

Over the last 2 years McDavid is literally the best player I’ve ever seen play, followed by MacKinnon, Kucherov, or Matthews in whatever order floats your boat.

As someone new to the NHL scene does it take years for these ‘elite’ players to reach full potential?
