Just how fast is Tyreek Hill? Compare him to Usain Bolt!

  1. I mean you guys saying Tyreek wouldn't be world class do realize that he always did football as his main sport and track as something just to pass time like all Florida teens do just to get their football speed up. I'd love to have seen what he would've ran in highschool if he hadn't done football and trained for track.

  2. Just shows that Tyreek isn't competitive with Bolt – but he is with the fastest sprinters in the world

  3. Fantastic video, thank you. So hard to compare. These Olympians are running this final after 3 days of pre-lims (some of them signed up for the 100m as well), wet track, wind, etc. It'd be great to see Tyreek's PR overlayed with Bolt's PR. And Tyreek was only a high schooler, so it's hard to dream of what he could have done as a developed track athlete.
The only true way to truly compare? Get Tyreek on the track! And training for a while and see them head-to-head; same pre-lims, same conditions, same time. Respect to Tyreek and especially Metcalf for putting himself out there at the 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials!

  4. Remember, this was bolt in 2016 when he is like 30 something. In his prime he was wayyyyy faster

  5. How fast do you guys think Tyreek Hill was as at like 14-15yrs old (freshmen in hs)? Was wondering how fast elite athletes who run 4.2 were at such a young age.

  6. What is even more amazing is that there are other humans on earth even faster than Bolt! You're only observing a small sample of over 8 billion people, it's all entertainment. Don't take it too seriously. Just because they say it, doesn't make it so.

  7. The best athletes in the world are going to high value sports and not strictly sprinting. Tyreek is an absolute freak.

  8. As an 18-year-old he won gold in the youth Olympics as part of the relay team and bronze in the 200 metres. He didn’t medal in the 100 metres. So yeah, he’s fast and he was fast, but it’s not like he was some sort of sprinter phenom who just happened to choose football.

  9. Hill would be faster than all these dudes on a football field and especially 40 yard dash. Who cares about 200m. Y'all nerds

  10. If hill ran in Rio under these conditions he would have likely run 21.05 – 21.20, due to the wet track and wind condition as opposed to the ones he ran in.

  11. Firdt of all, did he run a 200m on a level track with negligible wind speed? Or was this a 40yd dash that they extrapolated to 200m, or a downhill slope with wind at his back? These things make a HUGE difference; he would get smoked if he ran in that race at any point in his life.

  12. Not after 3 rounds and a finals.
He probably wouldn't have made it to the finals
And tyreeks time was not by a governing world system.

  13. If you think tyreek would have come anything but absolutely dead last in this race you’re a completely delusional football fan haha

  14. Bolt after retirement ran a 4.22, which is the record for the combine 40yd. He was in street shoes/sweat pans and didn't even warm up, just lined up and went….and he's a slow starter notoriously. Usain is a freak. Tyrek is fast, but Tyrek is slowing already. Usain ran that when he was like 3-4yrs past his prime. Usain still said he will race Tyrek today and would clearly win still. Can't take away from Tyrek for sure, crazy fast, but he is no Bolt.
