Wilson River Winter Steelhead with Buzz Ramsey

Wilson River Winter Steelhead with Buzz Ramsey

Guided by Brad Hanson, well known outdoor writer and fishing professional, Buzz Ramsey is joined by Nick Laviolette who caught his first steelhead as a kid with Buzz’s help. The river conditions are perfect for a variety of beads, SpinNGlos, Gooey Bobs, & bait smeared with Sand Shrimp Super Gel under floats. Check out Buzz’s technique for modifying Spin-N-Glo wings to increase action in the Yakima Bait Minute. Also, see the new Fish Field Drift Master Clear Floats in the the Fish Field Tackle Connection.

  1. Fishing with the legend that introduced you to your steelhead addiction ~Great story.

Keep making these videos, l really enjoy the channel.

  2. I love seeing Buzz catch fish on the old gear. It's not like the fish just stopped bitting that stuff. I love the Wilson. It is almost 3hrs from my house. It's always worth the trip.

  3. So you're now not associated with the Angler West store and in bed with Fish Field now? I know you sold the store but was assuming you were still promoting it.

  4. Bring back the Gooey Bob baits!!!! Great episode Justin & crew. Buzz always brings so much knowledge 🎣

  5. i just heard Buzz talk about giving that kid the pole and reel on the Outdoor Line radio show up here in the Seattle area. glad i got to see him take Buzz fishing with him returning the favor later in life. Buzz created a monster. and liked the green and orange spin and glo.if i could only use one color that would be it.

  6. Finally, someone with the balls to say what river they’re on and educate people on how to fish it and when. Imagine if this kind of information was out there for every river system, it would spread people out by giving them more options. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great videos Justin.
