Dubas is analogous to the first generation of MBAs, they sold everything, showed short term profits on their resume', got promotion at another bigger company. Dubas left the cupboard bare for the next GM, Trevling had no cap space no assets at trade deadline. Also TOR pipeline to London Knights makes irrational sentimental decisions, took Dermott over Boeser, Koneckny,, Aho and Andersson, Marner over Rantanen / Werenski + Barzel, = Marner vs. Rantanen – Barzel – Boeser Werenski – Andersson !!! Tavares in TOR a good thought, but TOR org didn't owe him a UFA payday.

Matthews is a great sniper – but he has only 33% to 50% assists compared to the current top 25 NHL assist leaders.😀 This year alone – the Leafs are 8 wins versus 1 loss with Morgan out of the line up. Why bother playing Morgan when it hurts the Leafs record?😀

Honestly, This should have been done 3 seasons ago. The Year Kraken was coming in. The worst mistake they made was signing John Tavares. The 2nd biggest mistake was not putting him on the draft board and allowing Kraken to take him. The ruined the growth of several players, that we where forced to let go and not be able to acquire a true top line defender ALL BECAUSE OF JT
Shanahan should go no matter what happens.
If Leafs tank in playoffs I would trade with Ottawa Marner/Reilly/Liljegren/Robertson for
Tkachuk/Chychrun/Batherson/Kelly.
