#Notes
* Well yet another game where we don’t have much to play for

They looked like a team desperate for a playoff spot and we looked like a team interested in stat padding without putting in the required effort. Really as simple as that. At least Vasy still looks sharp. Game doesn’t really mean anything, but hate to see bad habits and shitty puck management creep back in after they had cleaned a lot of it up. Hopefully a tune up game on Monday to get Kuch his 100 assists and then start gearing up for the playoffs.
I hope we don’t look terrible against Buffalo. That’s all I have
ugly game lol
After that Mikey hit the refs just ignored us for the rest of the game
Can’t really be upset, the Caps needed to win to keep their playoff hopes alive after they lost to Buffalo. Hopefully Jensen is okay after that scary injury.
With Kucherov being shut out 100 assist could be in jeopardy. But also means that he probably won’t get to 150 and set the record for most ever points by a winger and most ever points by a non North American player. what a shitty night, stop trying to set him up just play normally he got 141 points that way.
Need more Kuch points
Think after the injury bolts players said ” yeah they might try runs on us so we’ll just play cautious.” That and too many passes…Point was really in don’t shoot pass mode. Headman was in watch me make stupid defensive plays. Plus we continue to have the opposing goalie plays like a superstar curse.
One team was fighting for their life and another was there so they didn’t get fined. Who cares
At least this means Kuch can get 100 on home ice
Hedman needs to rest a game or two.
Sure would love to know how Jeannot finishing the most normal-looking check is “boarding” when the guy’s already on the boards. Other than that, just a poor final two periods by the Bolts. Someone needs to smack some sense into Point and tell him to **SHOOT THE DANG PUCK**.
Just get Kuch the two assists please in the last two games
Tampa is getting a Billy Strings train show tonight and D.C. isn’t. Thats a win in m y book.
Meaningless game, so long as no one got hurt
If we don’t push our play more in the next games and don’t play like a playoff team, we’re going to blow all the opportunities we have and look unprepared going into the playoff games. We know how slow this team can bounce back from having rests and breaks for too long so it’s not about that, it’s about focusing on the main objective and that’s play our smartest and strongest hockey moving forward.
