  1. So far so good. It's too bad that Sean Burke never won a Stanley Cup. He deserved it in his first year with the New Jersey Devils, playing a big role to get them into the playoffs for their first time.

If not for the Boston Bruins, a dream final between the "Mickey Mouse Club" New Jersey Devils (as Wayne Gretzky referred to them as) and the Edmonton Oilers would have been something. I believe that New Jersey would have actually won, as they had all of the motivation after Wayne Gretzky made that comment.

The Devils even beat them 8-7 during the regular season that same year, but no one has shared that game online for all to see, for whatever reason.

  2. Benoit Allaire? Is he related to Francois Allaire the famous goalie coach of Patrick Roy and others? Sean's a great goalie. He always impressed me for a big goalie.
