  1. Now this game had classic play off atmosphere to it, for the Red Wings. Old time hockey. I hope the Wings make the playoffs. I hope the Maple Leafs win the Stanley Cup. Even as a Red Wing fan, I want to see the Leafs raise the Cup. It is way over due.

  2. Reimer hasn't been great this year, and even he knows it. I'm glad he won us this game though. Two very big games against the Habs, and unfortunately, we're depending now on the Caps to falter. Even if we win both of our games, if the Caps do the same, we're eliminated. It won't upset me any if we miss, it's just been a fun ride, and watching meaningful hockey in April has been great, even if our record hasn't been.

  3. If this doesn't give a team momentum for the playoffs, I really don't know what would.

  4. Per the website MoneyPuck/predictions, Wings have about a 52% chance of they win their next game. About a 35% if they lose in overtime. Against Montreal, I like these odds.

  5. Patrick Kane is 100% responsible for the winning goal (pass was sauced right onto his stick, he didn't have to move it), homegrown guy gets 100% of the credit. Pretty much the story of the year for him in Detroit. He will not even take Yzerman's call this offseason after how they've treated him.

  6. Scince when is blowing a 3 goal lead against the leafs in desperaton of being 20 points behind everyone who did make the playoffs a big win?

  7. Ed gets a goal

Ned in goal with Pittsburgh shows why he was not resigned……but he helped us

At least the Pens lost and the refs could not help them in an onslaught versus Boston.

  8. I’m no longer on the fence if Lalonde should be fired. I’m now convinced Uncle Fester may be the worst coach in Red Wing history.

WTF was Lalonde doing playing Reimer in a critical game? He thought it would be nice for Reimer to reach his milestone in an original six game. Gee, what a swell guy! Never mind the team is middle of a playoff race – not important

  9. Being a Wings fan is not healthy. The ups downs are driving me crazy. Just when I think they are done, the draw me back in. I think the Wings have the best chance at getting that last playoff spot, but I am not very confident that they'll do what they should be able to do. They should be able to win the last two games, but I am not sure they will.

  10. If they could play with that hustle and drive consistently we'd have clinched the playoffs in March. Part of that is on the coaching staff and part a player character issue. At least we're no longer the worst team in the NHL
