Poor Reimer. The first two wasn't his fault (pure luck; the RW fell asleep on defensive coverage), but they were already in his head by the 3rd goal. But at least no one was there to see it! lol
– Same act we saw when he was with the Leafs; plays well for a couple games then has a meltdown in goal on the 3rd try. Hey, he's a terrific guy, I liked him when he was with the Leafs, but clearly still hasn't elevated his play even after he was traded from the Leafs. Some folks said it was the Leafs' lack of support in from of him, which was accurate, but seems the SAME problems still exist here with the Panthers. Maybe it's not always the players in front of him, sometimes he lets in one soft goal too many. For some reason though, Leaf fans though Reimer was the greatest goaltender that ever suited up for the Leafs. Aw well…..
They are mismanaging Luongo. Luongo builds up slowly over a season. He likes to, and should be playing most games. This alternate system goalie program in Florida is a disaster. As is the coach.
