Sounds like a decent deal for us flames.. tanev is a body first defencman who dosnt want that but like in dallas n edmonton playoffs it was crucial that he stays on the ice but in saying that if he doant who knows what will happn
Decent trade. Tanev is tough and a warrior but this is fair for a 34-year old UFA defenseman that is a bit injury prone

Fans have to remeber tanev is 34 year old rental that is one play away from an injury, given he doesnt think twice about throwing his face infront of a puck to block a shot.

Artem Grushnikov doesn't excite me right now but the fact that he's a apparently a smooth skating and intuitive defender with good size is a lot to like. Hopefully we get to see what he's made of sooner rather than later.
