  1. If he was a believer in Jesus Christ he will definitely be going to glory there is no glory for those who didn’t believe and worship and serve the creator of heaven and earth the Lord Jesus Christ

  2. Raised as a fan of the Lombardi Packers, and a former employee of the New England Patriots, I have enjoyed Chris Mortensen, his character and his content. Truly a star.

Adam, very nice job on your tribute.

  3. Mort was the best, the very best!!! May I relay a message to you all: "It doesn't end here guys, it doesn't end here!~"

  4. I am all for an ESPN Mount Rushmore with Mort and all the best of the rest. TIP Mort. Always enjoyed watching you. 🏈🙏🕊️💐

  5. TV stations said nothing, as well as anchors, no tears, no sorrow feeling, no nothing. ESPN decides to put a montage of photos of him on a video format on YouTube. LMFAO! Guess no one really gave a fuk about him. Amazing how billion dolalr companies just shoulder shrug deaths and onto the next. LMFAO

  6. Why are all these anchors dying early at ESPN? Toxic environment? Stu and so many others after him. Just weird. Sound slike being a millionarie but a dik head never really wins in the end

  7. Shefty… This was a beautiful obituary! Great job and God speed Chris!! You will be missed but forever cherished and remembered for your contributions to the sport and for the man you were off camera..

  8. Love you baby. Keep the sidelines clear and God bless you. Rest easy I appreciate the work you put in so I could eat dinner and watch you tell it the way it was.

  9. Well Done indeed!! Mort had a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. That was what his faith was about! This is what Jesus said about Himself in John 11:26 "everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
When Mort passed from this realm to the next, H=he saw the love of his soul for the first time! He would never want to come back. This make sports so trivial. We will miss you Mort but because of what Jesus did for all of us who know you personally, we will see you again very soon!

  10. Too bad about Chris. espn is an embarassment. From Dem dan patrick to that idiot keithy olberdumb. What used to be an entertaining sports, has now become a woke advertisement. Dem dan patrick, Lebaturd, olburdumb, and their ilk should be ashamed.

  11. When Adam first came over to ESPN and was paired with Chris I thought Chris was going to be phased out that that's just the way the business worked.
I'm glad I was wrong because Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter are still two things that are right with ESPN.

    Thank you Mort
    you are missed

  12. Just an incredible tribute. I loved watching him report football growing up. So glad he got into the hall of fame before his passing! ❤😢

  13. Oof, this one hits different. Mort always had that smile that would welcome you in and make you listen in to what he had to say. No surprise to hear all the kind words from everyone (Schefty nicely done) after his passing.

If you read this please search for the Bill Tobin/Mel Kiper showdown of the 1994 draft. There is a brief clip of Mort giggling at Kiper right before they are to throw to him and Bill Tobin. That genuine reaction always makes me laugh. Thanks Mort, God bless, and rest in peace.

  14. So very sad too see.My condolences to the family ✝️ Rest in Heaven Chris ✝️All Gods angels are in Heaven ✝️🕊️🇺🇸 Great coverage for sports ⚡

  15. He instigated the entire "deflategate" drama and LIES and never ever apologized for being completely wrong and being a hack and never removed his damaging tweet(s) that were proven as pure bs and garbage. He was lame and stale, exactly as ESPN has been for decades
