You named all your favorite Visiting Team location’s & what they do for the press when it comes to snacks … but what does PPG do for yinz 41 times a year … ? I’m actually really hoping it’s some Pittsburghers or Capicol & egg w/ fries & ‘slaw
Good win, but further highlighted the continued handicap of Letang defensively as well as the entire defensive effort, including Neddy. Might have to switch goalies the next game to give Neddy a well deserved rest. As for Letang, his better defensive days are behind him. Gotta replace him for next season.
I tend to be critical of Karlsson as a player. I like him, super skilled, but missing that 'grind' element in tough games. Gives up a few too many inches to other players when games get tougher. I don't blame him, his style of play is different. But it's' hard when it leads to defensive gafs. You take the positives with the negatives with all players. But it worries me that the negatives would hurt more than the positives. I would take a more stout defensive defensemen who doesn't contribute to two tying goals and win 5-3 in regulation than get a GWG in OT. I think getting karlsson was great in off season, but I never thought it was what the team needed. We shall see
While I am sort of glad the Pens won, nevertheless they played an absolutely horrible game and should have lost it early on in overtime when Detroit had that two on one rush.
Gotta love Dan grandstanding on the 5th question. Next says he won't answer the question to then answer said question and wraps it up with some good ol stawmanning. Between his reaction to this question and his bone headed "picture emerging" question to Sid it should be pretty clear he reads into things far too much.
I was hopeful for the Boston game, but after this game I'm terrified 😢. I'm just hoping for at least an overtime point. Hopefully my fears are unjustified though 🤞🏻
