I'm glad someone is giving Sammy his flowers, apparently I'm in the minority that doesn't believe that everything wrong with the team is that Sammy and Georgie are still on it
The mark of a cup contender netminder is the ability to keep the puck out of the net WHEN a clear defensive breakdown occurs. Fuhr, Belfour, Hasek, Brodeur etc were able to keep the doors closed when the D hung them out to dry. That is what Gieorgiev is missing. That ability to just shut the door. G has ALL the tools to become an elite tender, but WHEN he decides to break that out remains to be seen
yea ik georgie has it in him but clearly he has the crazy in him, attacking an equipment manager and hitting a young player. tantrums like that just arent acceptable. i dont get why prosletov was brought in, instead of giving annunen the backup for the year. seeing what he can do. now we have to go in kind of unsure of what annunen can do.
I think Cale and everyone know what's wrong with this team.
