On Flames nation the other day they suggested picking up Jake Debrusk which makes more sense than this. He is a player who wants more opportunity and one of the things the Flames can offer is (nearly) unlimited opportunity to a player like him. For this to work he would have to bet on himself with a 1 or 2 year deal and hope the time with the Flames demonstrated he was a top 6 player.
I’m not saying that is realistic but it makes more sense for the Flames than Reinhart.
