They should've turned around and traded him the sign in for eight years they didn't win win. The sardines were signed for that long, and they sure aren't going to win with him to sign for that long, so be prepared to not win the cup for another well ever it's a waste of money.

I think Canucks should go all in now. Everyone are still in their prime and in a couple of years, some contracts are up. But in saying that, I don't think Guentzel is an all in player. If Canucks do trade for him, they should not give up too much. Canucks already did with Lindholm and that is not looking good right now.
Hard no on Lindholm as he's going to want 8-9mil. They have top 2C's locked up. 8-9 mil on a 3C? Nope. They need a solid 3C if Blueger bolts at 3-4 mil. Also a legit top 6 scoring winger that fits with Pettersson for 2 years until Lekkerimäki is ready.

Signing Lindholm? You lost your mind? He's a complete bust, and there is zero chance he gets signed. He's not worth his current salary, and 8+m is his request to sign a new deal. And yes, you are definitely dreaming too much. Let's hope Petey gets going because Tocchet has been calling him out for a month now because if he doesn't, Miller can't do it all on his own even though he's trying.
