Travis Konecny recorded his first career NHL hat trick against the Penguins on January 15, 2021 in the Flyers second game of the season. He also recorded an assist on Oskar Lindblom’s empty net tally.
The Flyers took 2 of 2 from Pittsburgh to start the season, scoring 11 total goals between the two games. Carter Hart has been impressive in net, making some huge saves on Friday to keep the Flyers ahead.
