First! Make it Wayne!
I wish I could like this post twice. Cheers Simmer..🎉
Love it Chris.
I'll never forget my old man (who's since passed) told me (because I was so angry about the Richards trade) you're gonna love this Simmonds kid and damned if he isn't my favourite Flyer in my 38 years of being a fan. Right next to Hextall (the whole reason I'm a Flyers fan). He was a true Flyer. He's tough, he'll fight anyone, he would score 25 – 30 goals a year and the absolute best guy to put in front of the net on the PP. I was gutted when he was traded. I was always hoping the Flyers would bring him back after he wasn't getting enough ice time in Toronto.
I love this guy and I don't care if he played for 100 teams, he'll always be a Flyer to me. My absolute favourite.
I've only listened to 30 seconds of the podcast before I paused to comment.
I wish you all the best in life after hockey. I know you're doing some great philanthropic work with kids and I wish you all the best Simmer. ✊️💪
