As the season ends on a bit of a rough note the past few weeks (outside of Nazar coming on board), I thought this would be a fun compilation to share with everyone!
All season long, I have been continually baffled how Bedard has been below a P/GP scoring pace with how much offense he creates pretty much by himself. It’s difficult to really describe how much he was held back by our team’s overall lack of finishing talent or even just general skill throughout the lineup, so I wanted to go back and find clips where Bedard could have easily created a goal but ultimately the team failed to convert.
I initially did this just for my own curiosity, but thought it’d be fun to share if anyone else wanted a bit of a recap on the year outside his highlight reels where goals were actually scored. Obviously this is not even close to every single play he may have made, as even these clips were a bit difficult to track down, but I think it gives us the general idea of what he was consistently doing on the ice and what his linemates were *not* haha.
If anyone has/finds more footage they want to share, please do!

Bedard officially ended the season with:
– Seven (7) Posts hit (T-42nd in NHL)
– Four (4) Crossbars hit (T-8th in NHL)
– Three (3) Disallowed goals
– Across all situations, he slightly underperformed in actual GF (78) compared to xGF (81) and *way* underperformed GF% (46%) compared to xGF% (53%) due to defensive/goaltending issues.
– Lead all Blackhawks players (that played all year) in relative xGF% at +15.62% across all situations (30th in NHL amongst forwards with 1,000min TOI). Kurashev was second at +10.68% and shoutout to both Del Mastro and Nazar for strong figures of +18.79% and +13.25%, respectively, in their very limited sample sizes.
– Lead the Blackhawks in goals (22 – tied with Dickinson), assists (39), points (61), even-strength points (40), powerplay points (21), and shots (206) despite missing 14 games.
– [Carried the fuck out of the Blackhawks offense as the only dual shooting & passing threat on the team](https://i.imgur.com/jrjRukj.jpg)
So yea, just wanted to celebrate a fantastic rookie season for Connor and wonder out loud how much better it still could have been if he had some more help throughout the season.
Here’s to a strong offseason and hopefully an improved roster for next year!
***Side note: I suck as video editing and some clips were impossible to get better quality for so my apologies for all that shit lol.***

When bedard has more talented linemates expect way more offensive production. He’s a superstar
