  1. Its not that small of a market. Its bigger then all of these CSAs based on expected growth estimates in 2023, which is the correct way to look at an areas population. Most people are looking at our metro of 1.2 This is not an accurate way to look at things.

    Pittsburgh

    Columbus

    Las Vegas

    Buffalo

    Nashville

Having a hard time finding Canadian equivalences to American CSAs, but Winnipeg, Edmonton, Calgary, are likely smaller. Ottawa probably, too.

  2. Darcy Kemper had those bug eyes cage in the ‘22 Cup run and took a stick to the eye missing a lot of games. If I’m not mistaken, Frankie played 50%ish of the games in the Stanley Cup playoffs. Amazing goalie, sad to see him retire.

  3. As a current Utahn, I'm stoked. As a born and raised Minnesotan, I feel for Coyote fans. Utah will support well. And hopefully AZ will get a team sooner rather than later.

  4. I love that you are wearing an Eagles jersey, a nod to Frankie’s start in North American pro hockey.

It’s heartbreaking to see Frankie’s career end so soon. I was looking forward to years more of him in the Avs crease. I’m so thankful we got the time we did with him and that we won a Cup with him, a Cup for which he was a big part.

  5. Everybody are surprised to hear that ex JETS Arizona – Team is moving to Salt Lake City ! As a new team – needs a new name ? Howabout UTAH HEAT – that stands for Hockey Entertainmen at Town !

  6. I’ve watched both Gary Bettman press conferences with first, Alex Meruelo, and second, Ryan and Ashley Smith. This was day and night. Meruelo is a weird fellow and the presser with Bettman was a sh*t show.

  7. Saw Jagr play in Prague this year. He was put on earth for one purpose, to play hockey. He might be the most physically developed hockey player ever to have existed.

  8. Double thumbs up for the Eagles jersey, too bad to see Frankie retire, but so glad he was such a major part of that '22 Cup run. Such a great dude, glad he got to go out having won it all, hope het gets to enjoy his life after hockey, we'll always remember that huge shutout against the Oilers in the Conference Finals with the whole Ball Arena crowd chanting his name.

  9. When Jagr was playing in his last year with the Flames, I was watching a Flames game with my mom (who is not that big into hockey; mainly watches curling and CFL). She goes, "Wait a minute. Is that … JAROMIR JAGR? He's not still playing, is he?!"

  10. 1:15 I would guess that if the Coyotes get the arena and come back they would have an expansion draft, but the coyotes wouldn’t technically be considered an expansion team, like what the NFL did with the Browns where they considered the Ravens an expansion team in 1996 being a new franchise and the Browns selecting in the 1999 expansion draft.
