[Alter] McCabe re Nylander: He seemed to be in good spirits today. Not going to speak too much on it.

Willy a few nights ago
So appendicitis?
Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander participated in the team’s optional skate on Sunday after missing Game 1 of their series against the Boston Bruins.
“Good spirits” is usually code for concussion. It would also explain why it flared up Thursday morning after the last game of the season. He did take a pretty big hit there.
Ahhhh they are being so tight lipped!! At today presser, Keefe “no comment, not talking about that, not discussing Nylander” just say something!!!
If one thing was clearly evident last night is we need this guy in the lineup if the Leafs are going to have any chance at this series. Not having him on the third line for favourable matchups and on PP1 was a huge deal.
He probably had massive diarrhea that blew up the hotel’s toilet.
Chris Johnston said he was on the ice for about an hour. Looked maybe uncomfortable with some of his movements but seemed to look more comfortable as time went on. He said Willy was NOT conferring with medical staff during that time.
Good spirits would indicate he’s not close to playing.
Wtf is the problem. I’m serious.
Tight lipped cause its gonna look bad on the club and Nylander if people find out why.
Bro suffers from migraines. That’s my guess
I think its lower back. I’ve seen videos of him off ice with pads shoved down the back of his pants and the first thing I thought was man those would probably help my lower back.
