  1. You can't pay guys like Evans too much money, as sad as it is to say. These types of contracts add up and can hurt you long term if it's too long and too much.

  2. As much as I love Jake Evans and his work ethic, I'm not sure whether it's wise to keep him as we rebuild.

I suppose it depends on what management's priorities are in terms of goal production for our team.

It's a very delicate balancing act IMO.

  3. We need burrows out. Bring a guy who was good on the powerplay .letowski and robidas are good hockey head but burrowa kinda suck

  4. J-f houle seem to be the guy . I approved with jesse when the guy go in the big team they arrived ready and able to play in the game . Thats because j-f use a similar game play and the same speach as the coaching staff . MSL is the guy . The guy love him and they all can learn from a guy who as to figth for is place . MSL as a player went trough all . Ahl a couple years traded nhl even undrafted . The guy can relate to many of our guys and can remember then that even a player with talent can be surpassed by a player with the will to learn devellop and a good work ethics . MSL as a player was the most hard working man . Maybe not the most talented but he was working hard everyday to be better than what he was the day before . If he can teach that to skilled player watch out . And guys in the league want to play for him because he is a leader .

  5. 3-4 millions a year for Evans???!!! are you out your mind? we won't go anywhere if we start having 4th liner at over 2 million/year again. no way.

  6. I don’t mean this in a rude way, but you guys need a better setup because your show is awesome and you guys are very likeable, just the setup looks cheap lol

  7. Jake the snake Evans could be the ideal 4th line Center. But that means the team needs the top 3 centers in place. Suzuki, Dach?, who else? Newhook? Need another Center…the draft will be important.

  8. I' would give Evans 2 year. Not sure when we are ready to contend he is the 4th center that I want.

  9. Slaf to me from the all star break to the end of the season played like a top 15 maybe top 10 winger. At 19. I think if he continues his development path top 5 is possible. He's my favorite Habs player. I have bought jersies for guys i like. Doncic. Suzuki. Caufield. Xhekaj. But never a signed game worn one. Thats what i did for slaf

  10. There is better 4th line center that can score 7-10 goals and will bring more toughness and size than Jack Evans like Florian Xhekaj as example. Personally I don't sign Evans long term, maybe a year or two top and that is IF I don't find someone better.

  11. $3million per year? 😮 Evans is not worth that. In fact $1.7 million per year might be a bit high. I too like Evans but not at those costs. If you max bottom 3 contracts the team is doomed.

  12. The habs play man on man . Which is the most basic and weak system and that why they use it in laval aswell . But its full of holes as a system that why u have to upgrade at some point

  13. Evans is a fringe player on any contending team.

I like the kid but the reality is he provides very little offence while providing zero physicality.

  14. I would extend Evans next season. 3-4 yrs $2.25m $2.5m. Essential depth and quality role player. Unsung core lock.

  15. 3 million for Evans heck no he’s a good player but he’s got to be 1.4 or 1.5 max if he doesn’t sign we can replace him

  16. Holy cow Jake Evans couldn’t make 30 other teams, he played 3rd line and couldn’t score, minus player, sucks killing penalties, doesn’t hit, falls down easy, you guys need to raise your aspirations for a fourth line centerman, why did Anderson suck? Because Evans was his center!!
