He’s definitely lost his edge this year. But the defense hasn’t done him an favors either. And it’s not like the d is all that different from a few years ago. But maybe the focus needs to be more on defense instead of creating offense. Few years ago they were good on both sides.

I don’t have pure math to back this up but, for the most of this game, he’s let in either one goal for every two or three shots. Hellebuyk is letting in one for every nine ish.
We’re seriously destroying them. Offensively we’re crushing the shots and opportunities. Defensively we’re either getting Georgie to see em or blocking them. It’s up to him to hold his end of the bargain. Can’t be a hero? Be a sidekick at least.

I’m sorry but if Georgie starts another game wtf are they thinking? They gave him his chance. 7 goals on 23 shots is absolutely wild. Were ALL of the goals his fault? No but dude a .640ish sv% in a playoff game is unacceptable from an NHL goaltender. His confidence is absolutely 0 right now. The Avs dominated most of this game and scored 7 on Hellebuck. They absolutely should have won this game and would have with even below average goaltending. There is 0 chance Juice is worse than this and has a chance to be MUCH better. At this point they have to make a change. Ok. End of rant.
