Michael Oher is truly an inspiration, not only to those who grew up in a similar environment, but to anyone who is facing adversity. While the Touhy (sp) did provide support for Michael, the motivation & drive to want a better life for himself – to change what appeared to be an expected destiny – had to come from deep within himself. Money cannot buy such a deep dedication to his goals. Again, a true inspiration,
Ya know he's right. While the movie was so inspirational, it really didn't give him much credit for how motivated he really was. Also it sorta portrayed him as not knowing how to play football, when in fact he did know.
