Let’s give Georgiev the Trea Turner treatment on Friday

So for those unaware, last year Trea Turner was having a really rough year for the Philadelphia Phillies. At first the fans were treating him like shit as he is a highly paid player and wasn’t playing up to his potential and contract. But the fans eventually decided that it would be better to cheer him on with a standing ovation every time he had an at bat. Sure enough, the support helped him turn his season around and he started playing a lot better. [Here’s a quick video explaining it more thoroughly ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvzFao5RnBI)

I know Georgiev played great last night, but some fans have been treating him rather poorly and i think doing something like this could really help solidify his confidence and keep him playing at the level he played at last night. I know fans at Ball Arena are very interactive and love to go nuts any chance they get, so i think they could really pull this off.

As always, Go Avs!

Id love to hear Georgie chants at The Sack on Friday. After yesterday he deserves it and whether the doomers agree or not, we need him and Justus if we wanna make a legit run.

I wish I was gonna be at the Sack! Bring the house down for Georgie. Fans can obviously bring so much energy to a team and we are depending on y’all in attendance to boost them. Bring YOUR A-game!!!!

The Winnipeg fans cheered his saves and it didn’t work out for those dudes.

    Jk.

I love the idea of cheering loudly for Georgiev Friday night.

Incoming “Hell-E-Buck” chant when he gets scored on….or is that tempting fate?

I’ll definitely try and get a Georgie chant going when he gets announced I’m the starting lineup

Philly fans doing the least Philly fan thing imaginable.

I made a post saying the same thing at pretty much the same time, great minds think alike. This would be awesome to see.

My go to cheer at games is “HEY CALE! YOU’RE PARENTS ARE PROUD OF YOU AND SO AM I!” And, of course, the opposite for the opposing team.

I can’t remember who it was but I saw a stand up comedian once who said that men are the only people in the world who will cheer for someone making 5 million dollars in hopes that he’ll do well and make 6 or something to that effect….

    So true lol.

My point with this is that at the end of the day it’s a job so, yes, I believe they should be held accountable when they don’t perform. Harassment is a whole other thing, however.

I hope the Phillies never win another game.

Well… he’s not highly paid. He’s barely in the top-30 salaried tendies in the league. He’s paid appropriately.

That said, if we’re to win the cup, he has to be a big part.

I don’t know who this turner guy is, but I say just give him the “Frankie” treatment. It worked once.

Georgiev better get an extremely loud, and long standing O when his name is announced during the initial lineup announcement.

Georgiev better get “GEORGIE! GEORGIE!” Chants the entire night. I went to games 1/2 last year against Seattle. That save he made in game 2 during a 3 on 1 where he made save to the left and then overstretched the shit out of himself to make the rebound save to the right was astonishing, and the entire ball sack chanted his name for a solid 2.5 minutes.

If he plays like he did in the 7 games last year, this team will be perfectly fine and go as far as the core four will take them (which could be another 💍.)
