At No. 11 in our prospect countdown for 2022, we have speedy forward James Hamblin.
Hamblin went undrafted in the NHL Draft and inked a two-year AHL contract with the Bakersfield Condors. He impressed the organization enough in those two seasons that the Oilers signed him to an entry-level contract.
Have the Oilers found a diamond in the rough with Hamblin?

Hamblin is my favorite prospect that can develop in a Yanni gourde type of player. I know he has a chance to crack the bottoms six role with the team and if that's the case I can see him scoring up to 15 Goals or more if training camp goes well for him.
