Good split but allowing 10 goals not counting empty netter is not a recipe to win this series. Also I'm not sure what is a definition of a soft goal but I didn't think any of the goals scored by oilers in game 2 were soft. Ability of the players today to pick those corners under the crossbar is unreal.

Eddie, I 100% agree with you that the Kings have not played their A game, and also agree that we have to do better on PP, our PK, 2nd best in the league, probably drops to about average against the Oilers PP. So what will determine this series? I think these are the keys: 1. Goaltending. If I were Jim Hiller, I would start Rittich game 3 with the following strategy – If we score first, keep him in, if the Oilers score first PULL HIM to send a message – we came to play. Let's be honest, if we had Quick still minding the net, we win this series in 5 games. Second key, let's avoid dumb penalties, the Kings can lick the Oilers 5 on 5.
