LA needs to stop getting penalties, the goalie can't play the 5th man on the ice and tend goal. Oilers have a good power play, LA seems to think they are going to muscle the Oilers.
Playing Rittich isnāt going to solve anything. You might as well tell Talbot to stay home and enjoy the early vacation.

OILERS had talbot as a goalie for a few years so we know how he works, the kings I notice plays dirty. Very happy the refs where on a canadian teams side for once.
The kings will probably come back strong next game. Just as long as they play hockey and not a bar brawl. I feel sorry for the kings fans. Their team should not act like this in front of the home crowd. They game to watch a team play hockey.
It's not goaltending from kings it's just poor play in general. They're being out classes on and off the ice. Can't keep their cool at all.
There's nothing wrong with Talbot, it's the defence, LA has become the oilers at this point when it comes to defence, and believe me, having no real defensive structure sucks.
Itās crazy how despite letting in 6 goals, Talbot had +2.49 GSAx. This is proof that Talbot isnāt the only problem and goes to show just how badly the Kings were outplayed by the Oilers. The Oilers had 8.49 expected goals, the Kings had 2.17.
In fact, if you look at Talbotās GSAx for the whole series so far, youāll see that he hasnāt been as bad as his .861 Sv% would suggest. He has a +0.2 GSAx in games 1, 2 and 3. So basically the reason why Talbotās save percentage is so bad is because of bad defence by the Kings. Playing against one of the best offensive teams doesnāt help.

Cant blame the loss on Talbot when theres multiple 5 on 3s. Kings need to stop with the dirty plays and focus on getting a lead on Oilers.

Talbot is not the problem, the 18 skaters are the problem. It doesn't matter who's in goal, if the defense is not there and if they keep coughing up the puck and taking penalties, they're done!

Talbot the problem? No. I think the 5+ pp's per game and the 40ish shots per game they're allowing might be part of the problem. You give the Oilers those types of shots i dont care if its Shesterkin, Vasilevski, Demko or Swayman in net. You can't beat the Oilers with that roadmap.

As an Oilers fan I have to say Kempe might be the most underrated player in the NHL. For 3 years in a row every time he has the puck I'm terrified he's going to score. So I guess I can't imagine what it's like for Kings fans every time Mcdavid or Draisaitl have the puck lol
