Check out this in depth look of Sergei Bobrovsky & Anthony Stolarz warming up against the Dallas Stars on 3/12/24. Sergei Bobrovsky is starting and he is rocking a sweet set of True HZRDUS PX4’s with a 595 blocker with 580 glove. The glove still seems to be the L4.1 build with the traditional backhand and finger loops. The pads are also 33+1.75. He is rocking some Vaughn SLR3 NHL Spec pants and a CCM Pro Chest with a Zoombang shirt underneath. He is known for his wildly unique shoulder shape on CCM EF5 Pro Lite sticks. Also, he switched from a CCM Mask and is now in a Pro’s Choice Helmet and True 2 piece skates with Bauer Vertexx Edge holder.
Anthony Stolarz is using True PX3 pads with 600 glove and L12.1 blocker. He is also using Vaughn Velocity NHL Spec pants, a CCM Pro Chest, True 9X3 Sticks, a gorgeous chrome based Bauer Profile Mask, and True 2 piece skates with Bauer Vertexx Edge holder just like Bobrovsky.

Ok this is fascinating. I watch Chris Driedger with the Firebirds a lot and he’s super tall but his pads always seem small. I know Bob was a mentor for him (Dreegs even uses the same type of modified stick), so now I’m thinking he also took on the philosophy of wearing smaller pads.

Bob is razor sharp, crazy detail in his precision even while stretching.
Wow looks like bob has at least the top two eyelets skipped on his skates maybe even one more? Hard to see with the wrap of the excess lace. I know some guys do different things there but quite interesting to see how low he goes on that 👀 Can see it great at the 11:11 zoom in.
Bobs also in an old eflex4 style glove skinned as the newest, can tell by binding and backhand.
