Jack is pinpoint accurate here. Skinner played "well". The whole team won the game. L.A. played as well as they possibly could and lost the game. The Oilers have played only one bad period in this series, and they need to realise its implications for game 5.
Hey Jack! Sure do miss you calling our games. The CBC announcer doing our games is quite challenging to listen to. He seems to always be behind the play, uses words that don’t make sense. I do t know, do other Oilers fans like this announcer ?
The Oilers did not shut them down, the Oilers were shut down, did you not see the shots after 2 periods?….if Edmonton doesnt figure out how to stop LA from dissecting them then this series might flip faster than an A&W hamburger patty. Skinner did not look good because he was not that good….he was extremely lucky..it wont happen again. Reffs have gladhanded the Oilers the Series so far and Edmonton is showing weakness by having to live and die on Special Teams… the LA Kings used the 1-1.5-2.5 or the 3-Layer Forecheck and it absolutely turtled the Oilers , next game killer offense will be added to that Anaconda hold. Tell me a team with Perry and Carrick and Kane and Draisaitl and Desharnais are not taking 2x more penalties than the Kings….the Reffs refuse to tilt the ice by penalizing the Oilers more than the Kings…no matter what… we did not wait all Season long over 82 games to see the Oilers win a Stanley Cup on the PP…thats just stupid.
