That Gustav Nyquist is a super star. He was all over the article.

FINALLY SOMEONE IS RECOGNIZING WHAT PETEY DID TO SAVE THE DAMN GAME.

I just watched an infuriating Canucks Army video where they claimed Petey “disappeared for the third period”.

If Petey didn’t do that backcheck and force Sissons to shoot on the backhand and extended, as well as delaying it so the angle was worse…that comeback is killed in the cradle.

    >*The Canucks played one of their worst games of the season and it somehow turned into one of the greatest games in franchise history.*

“Classic game of stand, sit down, and lay down.”

That made me laugh way too hard!

Such a weird, almost watershed, moment in Canucks history.

This was what Botchford was talking about when he said sometimes things go the other way, wish he could have seen this ❤️

  11. Great piece. You did a masterful job of showing how the little plays and extra efforts make the win.

Great, hilarious article on one of my new all time favourite hockey moments. I shared it with all my hockey friends.
