[GopherHockey] Minnesota honors Rinzel as their Rookie of the Year and Moore as their Most Determined Player



Obviously these don’t mean all too much in the grand scheme of things, but cool to see the two Hawks prospects on the team get some recognition! Both had great rookie seasons and have tons to build off of next year.

Rinzel especially has been growing so damn well since being drafted, it’s exciting that he’s starting to take shape as a legitimate NHL prospect and not just pure potential!

    Love this. Thank god Davidson is willing to give his prospects time to develop cause I think Rinzel is going to be really good down the road.

    I am so ridiculously high on Rinzel, he’s definitely the dark horse of all of our top prospects. The improvement he had this year was incredible.

    Defensively he was fine to start the year, but was a shut down monster to end the year, especially on the rush.

    Offensively he was always dangerous and skilled with the puck, but he got so much more poised with the puck as the year went on. By the end of the year it really looked like the game slowed down for him. I’m excited to see him dominate next year.
