This is Embarrassing..

OK Guys, it’s time to talk about a very sensitive subject in Leafs nation right now.. The current status of Auston Matthews. Will he play tonight? Nobody seems to know, but after watching years of hockey, and seeing players battle through some pretty significant injuries to bring their teams to victory.. This is pretty embarrassing in my opinion..

The articles that were in the video were screenshots from Habsfanatics.com, I highly reccommend you to check out this site for further Habs News,

  1. lets say both matthews and nylander had some sort of neurological something or other. Thats not something anyone f*s with. as hard as these guys skate if you're a little off and take a header into the boards you can end your career. I'm not making excuses for them, but I'd rather see them not play than play when they're off and end up hurting themselves.

i'm a leafs fan and I wanna see better. But maybe this is what it takes to clean out some of the crappy leadership upstairs (and maybe on the bench?) and get a better culture for the next playoffs. I completely agree with what you say that these guys generally aren't showing up for the playoffs, but when a whole team has that issue its a 'culture' problem thats there, not just your elites.

  2. It’s ok, Toronto. Western Canada (aka REAL Canada) will carry Canada to the Cup.

    Lmao, “Canada’s Team” my ass.

  3. 4 panthers had broken bones last year? Ohh the poor things . Patrice Bergeron played thru a couple series 3-4 years ago with, broken nose , sports hernia😆 , broken ribs and a punctured lung , cuz that’s what leaders do on a hockey team.
While we’re at it tkachuk sure didn’t break that sternum by dropping the mittens and standing up for teammates, like a captain should do. I got no problem with guys being Ratz , cheap shot artists like tkachuk are another thing. And Marchand the Rat will drop the gloves anytime, mostly against bigger guys and let the chips fall where they may , cuz he ain’t beating too many of those big guys

  4. After seeing all these years of futility, why would anyone be a leafs fan? Pretty much pick any other team and you would be doing better. This team has been trash for the past half a century. Don't be in a abusive relationship; set outside of leafs and find a real team for whom to cheer. Life is so much better on the other side of the fence.

  5. hockey junkie i like you but this is an awful take. If Matthews is out its because he's so unhealthy it will be better to put a healthy player in. Being sick isn't like having a hairline fracture where you can just take painkillers and grit your teeth. Sickness drains you of energy. If you don't have energy you can't play.

  6. Dude, I've been trying to figure out for the better part of a year just how, in the name of god, that heartless bunch of p*ssies beat the Tampa Bay Lightning in a series.

  7. you put it right. most players would have to be dragged off the ice with a crane when it comes to the playoffs, and these pussies would rather get a sick bill. if i were him, i'd be shitting all over the ice with diarrhea just to try and make something happen

  8. Guess these guys are weaker than basketball players then. Go watch Game 5, 1997 finals Jordan playing with flu and sinking game winner against Utah. Plenty of rec league players will play 11 pm on a Tuesday with the flu or hacking up a lung. If these reports are true it's very weak. Take some Pepto and get out there.

  9. Chris Pronger literally had his heart stop on the ice. After the defibrillator was used,he came back to play in that same game.

  10. The owners of the Buds are more interested in the optics of the team than having a successful team.

  11. Nothing wrong whatsoever with your video, or approach, man. Problem with Toronto fans, is that they coddle each other into believing that every year, is "the" year. In September, they are winning the cup, every single year. It never fails.

I have a few close friends who are Toronto fans, and I've been putting up with the idiocy for like…. 20 years straight now, since grade school, through high school, through university, and now in the working world.

Every year, yep, this is the year Toronto is winning the cup. What? You don't agree? You're just jealous that you didn't sign Bertuzzi for $5M, or the ultimate game changer, Max Domi. You're jealous you don't have geriatric Giordano on your blue line. Ya, you're jealous.

So tired of Leaf fans. Yes, even my friends, who I just change the topic off of hockey when a single word is uttered anymore, because I already know, they don't wanna talk about hockey, they just wanna talk about their pathetic Leafs. No matter what you say about your team, or any other team, it will instantly come back to Toronto in some bizarre manner.

Leaf fans, are the worst. Who cares what they think?

  12. Bad management. The Leafs should have rested their key players beginning in January. Healthy scratches for healthy humbleness. Fire management even if the Leafs win.

  13. Hey, Austi. Wanna go out for a couple of Pepto cocktails after the game? Maybe we can sneak up to my room after that and compare see-through panties

  14. I agree with almost everything you said. but saying a headache is the same as a migraine is like comparing a hangnail to having your finger cut off,

  15. Personal records and stats are more important than winning the Stanley Cup , come on.Thank god for third and fourth lines keeping them in it

  16. I hear the Leafs read excerpts from Prince Harry's book between periods to gain inspiration. 🤭

  17. I mean if a player has diarhea of course he can't play. However playing with broken bones is a normal part of playoffs. We are far from the eras that did so
