    Out of the last 25 seasons, only 6 of them saw the youngest team in the NHL make the playoffs. The absolute youngest would have been the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2012-13 with the average team age being 26.0 … we had 25.7 this year.

    Some people want to say that the team age wasn’t an excuse, but we literally would have been setting a record by a fairly large margin if we even made the playoffs, let alone going deep.

    I don’t think Donny Meatballs did as bad of a job as they were implying. I would have liked to see another year out of him. But then again, I may be wrong seeing Ruff back this year.

    Fun fact this is the first time since 11-12, & 12-13 that we’ve had back to back +.500 seasons

    Looking at all of our former Sabres still in the playoffs, I was thinking … “ hmm … We still have a very young team … if these kids can get just their shit together … “
