  1. Another 60%+ faceoff win for the devils. Awesome. Now if we can just get that Power play a little better we can make some noise. LGD

  2. Karlsson is so overrated. His defensive liabilities were disguised by Ottawa's system but we're really seeing it now. He & Burns are basically forwards out there.

  3. Ugh, as I thought, Karlsson's not helping as the team tries to "play around him" like his downfall in Ottawa. Sloppy, giveaways galore and -5 so far. He'll be -25 to -30 by season's end. Individual talent, but hard for a team to play with him.

  4. Good win, team effort. But the devs passing was a bit sloppy at times. They seemed a bit sluggish today. Not like when they played the caps.

  5. Looks like San Jose had some grade A point blank chances in the final minutes. Nice job by Kinkaid… he kind of saved the win there. Not sure how he wasn't one of the 3 stars.

  6. For those who say SJ is overrated:

Everyone was ripping on the pens last year bc they were 6th or 7th in the division going into Christmas. They ended second. Point being that the first HALF of the season- let alone the first few games- doesn't guarantee anything.

  7. Taylor Hall's shoulders must hurt after carrying his team. Other than Kinkaid, he seems like the only Devil on ice that wasn't asleep.

  8. This is so frustrating for the Sharks. They try to force it and it's not working. Penalties are killing them so far.
