  1. If you’re trying to send a message just drop the mitts or lay a huge hit on someone. Don’t cheap shot because now all you did is piss off the penguins and put a target on your head.

  2. Hockey is so soft now. And the fans are even worse. Crosschecked to the back but he holds his face like he caught a high stick. Which is it?

    This was nothing.

  3. Anywhere but hockey that would be assault. These “hockey” players need to grow up. He should be kicked out of the nhl not fined or suspended.

  4. I love how ignorant some people are. 1) The modern hockey sticks break easily. 2) When the stick breaks, it reduces the impact of the crosscheck. Similar to how a broken bat in baseball takes a lot of energy out of the hit. It was actually good for Kuhnhackl that the stick broke. 3) The "hit" after the crosscheck had virtually no force to it.
Obviously, it deserved a crosschecking penalty, but the pearl-clutching in this comment section is straight up embarrassing. If this is "the dirtiest play you've seen in a long time" (as stated by one of the top comments with over 1k likes), then you obviously haven't been watching much hockey in that time.

  5. Boy, it must suck to be Columbus. Not only can they not beat us in the playoffs, but Crosby has beaten multiple players on their team in fights.

  6. Cry ab the wings beating his ass they know these guys personally there’s more to it then a dirty play but this was too far so yeah go cry ab Tyler bert feeding him from the bench

  7. Way to make yourself look like a huge D Bag. Your whole team turned into a bunch of 🤡s at the end, get back in your 🤡 car and go back to the circus.

  8. rward Matt Calvert has been suspended one game for his cross-check to Pittsburgh's Tom Kuhnhackl late in the third period of a Game 2 loss to the Penguins.N

Calvert will miss Game 3 Sunday. The NHL announced the suspension Saturday night.

Calvert received a minor penalty for cross-checking on Friday when he chased down Kuhnhackl away from the play and hit the Penguins forward in the head with his stick, which broke in the process. The NHL Department of Player Safety says it rose to the level of supplemental discipline because it was not a hockey play and fell into the category of message-sending.

  9. Calvert is in the top 50 worst players of all time. Buddy needs to simmer down. I hope he got his karma for this
