    Vancouver should be watching tapes of how to defend against McDavid from the Colorado series two years ago. Makar really helped shut down that team and with Hughes speed, we have that.

    The oilers will play so well in this series, I predict they'll take it in 1. Some kind of Chuck Norris thing going on. Don't question it.

    The Canucks DO have the better d'fense, Silovs is unknown but he has all the tools and the mindset to succeed! All the pressure is on the Oilers to win. Invisible Petey vs Nashville will show up in this series. Quinn Hughes will put on a show. I agree with B'Mo, Canucks in 6!

    If McJesus and Draisaitl kick it into high gear there's not much the Canucks are going to be able to do. All you die hards saw the Oilers during their first month when Woodcroft screwed up the team with bad systems. And you're singing the praises of a team which beat the Predators, which were a middle of the pack team this year. The things they were able to do against the preds they will not be able to do against the team that had the best record in the league after the first month.

    Plus, the Oilers have been strong for years now and been through the wars. The Canucks have had one good season in a row, just like Winnipeg did, and look what happened to them.

    Hey Morrison first I loved you as a canuck alongside Naslund and Bertuzzi I thought you guys had some awesome teams. I also really like how you break down the series between our Canucks and the Edmonton oiler choke artist. I agree Canucks in 6. Let's go and I really can't wait for round 3.

    Hey Brendan, i have a question about your days on the canucks. did you ever play with another morrison? I picked up a pro navy orca jersey and it has team stitched "#53 J.Morrison" on it. i can't seem to find anything online and thought maybe you'd know if there was a guy that was supposed to play and didn't but had jerseys made up.

    Btw I grew up watching you in the WCE days as a kid. My favourite era!!

    I feel it's going to be Oilers in 6, but I'll be rooting for the Canucks all the way.
    Big question I have is how important is playoff experience to success in the Stanley Cup? My gut is that it's one of the biggest intangibles. This is what tips the scale for me. The Canucks just don't have that experience and what's involved mentally and physically. The flipside of this is that the coaching crew has a TON of experience in the Stanley Cup, so maybe they are leveraging this.

    Regular season doesnt matter EXCEPT if the oilers had won 4 the games it would have mattered and everyone would think blowout maybe 5 games max

    I think it will come down to goal tending.. the young kid Silovs will be even more confident now. Canucks in 7.. Let’s go Canucks!
