Shattenkirk tripping on Knies? – Have your say!

Kevin Shattenkirk either made a great defensive play or got away with a trip on Matthew Knies. You be the judge. Have your say!

  1. In any other regular season game, or hell – even if earlier playoff game – this would be a trip. But in game 7 – Boston got away with murder here. Great game so far, we're going to overtime! Let the better team win! 🤞🥳

  2. That's what defined this game. Ridiculous pp for the bruins before this, and then this not being called neither a Tripping or a Penalty Shot. Congrats Bruins, another win based on refereeing.

  3. Nah, good non-call. Im a fan of neither team, and that was just a bump.
He didnt poke his skate or hit him in the knees… Dude was on his edges hard and fell when hit.

  4. Who cares? Like Toronto played a complete fair game? It's over. Your team lost. There were a lot of non calls throughout this game. In the end you were Pastranized!

  5. The refs were truly disgusting how blatant they helped BOS win !
The police need to look into corruption involved in the NHL!

  6. They called a similar play against Toronto in this same game…
So yea it should have been called

  7. Does getting the puck first matter by the rules? I honestly don’t know.
If it doesn’t matter, it’s a trip. Otherwise, no trip.

  8. Looked like knies was trying to lean on shattenkirk, like happens all the time, but he just kinda missed and was going down already

  9. In Hockey Canada, this isn’t a penalty since he made contact with the puck first, but in the NHL, it is a minor penalty. If he didn’t touch the puck first, it would have been a penalty shot, but since he touched the puck first, it’s just a minor penalty.
