Should Brayden Point have been awarded a penalty shot? Tough Call Review
Brayden Point was taken down by Matthew Tkachuk on a partial breakaway. He was awarded a power play for his team, but should he have been awarded a penalty shot instead?
I saw it live (I am not a fan of either team) and thought it should be a penalty shot. No question in my mind that it should have been a penalty shot after your review. Much as I dislike Matthew Tkachuk and his dirty play, he made the right play but there should have been a penalty shot awarded.

Agree with you. If done in review, it's obviously a penalty shot…..and the trip was clearly intentional.

The Refs call,what they want and when they want. Depends on who it is and what Team there on. Terrible,and obvious.
I watched the highlights. When i seen this play i automatically thought penalty shot and surprised it was called a minor penalty
