  1. That holding call was a bad call on Hintz. He barely touched the guy.
The refs have called bad penalties for Dallas these first two games. These bad calls cost us the first game and almost did for this one.

  2. As an Avs fan I'm not mad about this at all. I expected to split the series, but seeing Georgie flash some brilliance and sending the message to Dallas that the only way to prevent a comeback is a 4 goal lead is pretty great. Now we pretty much have a best of 5 where the AVS have home ice advantage. Start the next games strong and this series is done.

  3. I do not understand why TNT pays anyone to announce their games. All I could hear was the crowd, the PA announcer, and the arena music. It was like being at the game and having two annoying drunks sitting in front of you who won't stop talking about everything but the game. I've got to sync the radio feed for game 3.

  4. could anyone tell me what stars jersey Shannon was wearing in the video please? I can’t figure out what year it’s from.

  5. Shannon I know what you're doing with the "i expect Colorado to win" reverse jinx hooplah and i don't like it.

  6. I used to respect you without question before your excuses for the officials for calls for/against Dallas in this series finally changed my mind.

You have serious fan goggles when it comes to officiating at times. This saddens me tremendously.

  7. Unsubscribing and disliking because of how hard you are trying to convince yourself that there was no head contact on that hit initiated by Jamie Benn.

That's pathetic Shannon. Truly. I'd rather have no hockey coverage than yours going forward.

  8. How many games this week will goalies let in 4-6 shots while fans still praise them as gods? Hell, Boston had 2 "god tier" goalies broken in 1 game.

  9. I think when you have a side in a game, you’re more prone/sensitive to “biased commentary”. This is coming from a Wings fan that has no side (I hate the Avs). I think what Eddie’s trying to do is make it seem exciting saying there could be another miracle comeback which shows why the game of hockey is so exciting. Nothing but respect for this channel though, keep up the fantastic content Shannon.

  10. Shannon wears his fan goggles as shamelessly as the worst among us sometimes, especially with such quick turnaround times on his videos and the heat of NHL playoffs, compounded by the poor outcomes for most teams he roots for.

It's still wrong, and people acting like Shannon's words are the gospel if they go in their team's favor are the absolute worst fans out there.

  11. 🎶Give it away, give it away, give it away, now
Give it away, give it away, give it away, now
Give it away, give it away, give it away, now
    I can't tell, if I'm a king pin or a pauper…🎶

This Cup season I started a new tradition. I started playing this beautiful string sonnet by a choir group calling itself the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I play it every time a goalie gets scored on when he's more than six feet out of the net. I played it for young Mr. Oettinger twice tonight. Seems he has a confidence problem. Too much of it. We're talking invincibility, morale hazard level here…This Colorado "comeback" was not some random miracle. It was a mathematical certainty given the way the Stars goaltender played. Evidently he hasn't gotten the geometry lesson that I suggested in my own complete and utter arrogance, so I will offer up the Cliff Notes version here…An NHL goal is 6 feet by 4 feet (180cm x 120 cm for you metric types). You, Jake Oettinger, are 6 foot 5 inches (196 cm, roughly), and we'll assume your wingspan is about the same. However in a full clamshell with your pads you can cover your height plus about 4 feet horizontally. Now let's put you 6 feet in front of your goal, at the edge of your crease. As bad ass as you may be with that charging attacker, if you don't scarf the puck completely, you're screwed, with about 325 cubic feet behind you in front of your now open net if the attacker either gets around you, or he or someone else grabs a rebound or loose puck. You're way better off staying in your net and going butterfly as best you can to cover up the holes…Jake? Jake? You should know all of this. You went to an elite Eastern university. Apply it to your daily life and see how much easier things get for you and your teammates…

  12. If the Avs decide to play more than 20 minutes of gameplay they would up 2 games. But going back to Denver tied is fine too.

  13. Have a little faith Shannon. They got the win. Good on Colorado for coming back but no moral victories in playoffs.

  14. This is a simple game to analyze. Both teams sucked. Refs sucked. I’m almost convinced everyone on ice sucked ass. Like black hole, no light escaping ass…. And even then, somehow while shoot literal poop, they get three. And almost came back to tie and take it to ot where we win most times… if avs play anything like they do 90% or more of the time Stars have near 0 chance of winning series. This is how I see it. Am I biased? Yep! Avs fan and only Avs fan sense 95’… I was 12 or something. Watched the final game in the sweep in FL. Like 3rd ot or something insane, was like 2 am and I shouted my ass off and it was worth it!!!! For me… my fam? Eh, don’t remember…

  15. Saying there's no head contact on the Benn hit is insane. There very clearly is. A player's head doesn't jerk back violently after a hit without head contact. It's a complete blindside hit too. If that had been Tom Wilson hitting Sidney Crosby, people would be out for BLOOD, including you.

  16. Can understand Shannon's worry about Dallas, it feels like everytime they play Avs they get gifted goals left and right. Still haven't had a game in this series where Avs show up when the game starts.

  17. Avs are lucky it's tied. You can't keep going down 3-0 and 4-0 and getting badly outplayed and expect to win against a much better, deeper team that isn't just relying on a couple of superstars. Taking 2 too many men on the ice penalties is pathetic.

  18. Stars did make it too close for comfort, but that fourth goal was key. In the past three seasons, the Stars have gone to a 3-0 lead 44 times. If they get that fourth goal the Stars are 35-0. However, if they get to 3-0 without adding a fourth goal, then the Stars are 3-6, including the loss in Game 1.

  19. If the STARS don't come up with a stronger defensive plays to help their goalie, they can just skate around like they are on vacation.
It's obvious each team they play sees open holes and less defensive play during power plays and when they are ahead.
Dallas has a better chance than a y other team to make it all the way, but they need to get ahead, stay ahead, and defend those unexplained goals and no pushing or fouling
I called it today. I saw 5-3 today.
I see The STARS shining bright deep in the heart of Texas as a winner. Just keep that great strong offensive scoring and help the goalie block those shots.
    Go STARS💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋

  20. If Dallas wa that Stantley Cup
Dallas cannot go to sleep on the AVA, because they are a combat team but Dallas need to shut them down offensively and defensively. Like they did with the Golden Knights

  21. Can't listen to the broadcast now without noticing every "unfortunately" Olczyk drops. I think he does it both ways though… pretty sure I noticed at least one time when it was "unfortunate" a COL player blocked a DAL shot.

  22. As an Avs fan, even if we won I woulda been hella disappointed in my boys. They did not play well, I knew that as soon as I watched one of our star players lose the puck in our zone with no one on him when we were on a PP. Oh lord, I'm glad we at least brought it back to one goal to give you Stars fans a heart attack lmao 🤣

  23. 10:00 Good teams win the games they should. Great teams win the games they shouldn’t. It happens every playoffs. Dallas is lucky they aren’t down 2-0 again.

  24. The short handed goal was offsides clear as day, and the Benn hot absolutely was a penalty, not only did he leave his feet to hit him high, he didn't even have the puck so it could've been interference too. He made contact with the shoulder yes but he absolutely 100% was aiming for the head and Benn absolutely did hit the head

  25. As an Stars fan we don't wanna win without putting everyone that loves them through hell 😂😂😂 omg we ALMOST crumbled like Humpty Dumpty last night

  26. I too turned to the radio. I just prefer Josh and Razor. 😂
Avs looked like they didn't care. They were not in the game spirit. They tried to pull it off in the third, but thank goodness Stars stepped up with Esa scoring on empty net. It's going to be tough going to Denver next two games.
